As part of the investigative efforts to uncover what happened at WNP that was kept from the population of Wormwood as well as Oresnk and the world at large as a whole, teams of volunteers have returned to the site of WNP to recover as many classified documents as possible. The expedidtions would be dangerous, both from the radioactivity that was still leaching into the air and ground as well as the government efforts to keep the events and their actions thereafter a secret from the public. This archival website was set up because keeping the realities of what happened un wraps was exactly what lead to mass mutations within the exodus population of Wormwood initially, then the neighbouring nations. Insufficient efforts and poor prioritisation, this archive believes, are criminal offenses and we hope our efforts will go some way to bring those responsible to justice.
The First Expedition (E1) began their venture into the newly erected Exclusion Zone (which stretches from the Western Oren shore to 50 kilometers east of the site of the incident) within the week following the extraction of the remaining military forces and conscriptions when Chief Petrova of the Domestic Security dept. announced that the radiation leaks had been brought under control. This announcement and extraction came around four months after the initial explosion, approaching the new year 1948.
